Isavia Interim results 2026
Isavia Group's earnings before depreciation, capital items and taxes (EBITDA) amounted to ISK 3,338 million in the first six months of 2026, compared to ISK 4,245 million during the same period last year. The year-on-year decrease amounted to ISK 907 million.
Group revenue totalled ISK 20,295 million in the first half of 2026, a decrease of ISK 4,158 million compared with the same period in 2025.
“The decrease in the Group’s revenue is primarily attributable to the transfer of duty-free operations at Keflavík Airport from the subsidiary Fríhöfnin ehf. to a new operator in May 2025, as well as lower passenger volumes at Keflavík Airport compared with the previous year following the bankruptcy ofPLAY Airlines,” says Sveinbjörn Indriðason, CEO of Isavia.
Net profit for the period amounted to ISK 441 million, compared with a profit of approximately ISK 1,130 million during the same period last year.
Investments in the Group´s operations during the first six months of the year totalled ISK 5,659 million, compared to ISK 6,107 million in the corresponding period of 2025.
A total of 3.4 million passengers travelled through Keflavík Airport during the first six months of 2026, representing an 8% decrease compared with the same period last year.
