For young travellers, waiting for a flight can be exciting — but it can also be a bit challenging — so we have created a fun and engaging environment to make the time fly while waiting.

    Ent­ertain­ment for Ev­ery Age

    We offer a variety of activities to help make your journey more enjoyable — whether you are waiting for departure or looking for something to keep the kids entertained during the flight.

    Play Areas for Kids

    In the departure lounge, you will find cozy play zones designed especially for preschool and early school-age children. These areas are safe, inviting, and located close to seating areas where parents and caregivers can relax while the kids play. They are also conveniently near restaurants that offer delicious, family-friendly menus.

    iW­all – Move, Play, Have Fun

    For older children (ages 6–13), there is the exciting iWall experience in the east wing area. It is an interactive game wall where players step right into the action and control the game using their own movements. Everyone is welcome to give it a try! It is a fantastic way to stay active, have fun, and pass the time while waiting for your flight.

    Step into the Mag­ical Wor­ld of Tuli­pop

    This summer, we are thrilled to unveil a brand-new play area in KEF’s east wing, created in collaboration with Tulipop, ÞYKJÓ, and IRMA. This imaginative space is tailored for children and families, inspired by the colourful and whimsical world of Tulipop. It is a creative hideaway within the terminal that sparks imagination and joy — turning waiting time into a memorable part of the journey.

    Stroll­ers Av­a­ila­ble at the Air­port

    Did you know you can borrow a stroller at the airport? You can check in your own and use one of ours while you are here. They are available throughout the terminal and free for all passengers to use.
